The reason why many therapists and doctors recommend Probioform is simply that Probioform probiotics consist of three classes, probiotic lactic acid bacteria, wild yeast and beneficial acids, in contrast to pill and powder lactic acid bacteria which are freeze-dried and the environment in which they have lived is removed. Probioform is produced by fermentation at several different temperatures, the last part of the fermentation is finished at body temperature. This gives a faster effect and a long shelf life that is stable at room temperature, making cool storage unnecessary – even after the box has been opened. Other liquid probiotic products often go bad 5 weeks after opening and must be thrown away. Probioform is so stable that it will remain unchanged for a year (some changes in taste will occur as the pH gradually drops).
No. The bacteria in Probioform probiotics have never been freeze-dried. Therefore, they are active and start working already in the stomach, in contrast to pills and powders which take many hours before they start working.
Yes, Probioform is gluten and sugar free. Can therefore be used by those on the Keto diet or Paleo diet.
Yes. all our products are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. No animal products are used in the production of our products. Even the packaging colors on the box are from vegan sources.
Probioform has a pH in the range 3.0–3.7. This is important to ensure that the bacteria survive the stomach acid found in the stomach, which has a pH of about 2.4.
No, Probioform does not contain any prebiotics since the bacteria are all active, they do not need extra food and since those with inflamed intestinal walls such as IBS and other inflammations react negatively to prebiotics, it is safest without them.
In the gut, glyphosate is a profound zonulin stimulator. It damages epithelium and dense connective tissue on contact, and weakens barriers that protect us against environmental toxins to which we are exposed. Damage to the tight junctional membrane in the intestine can lead to reduced intestinal permeability. The acute inflammatory response can quickly become chronic inflammation as the body can be overwhelmed by toxins through the leak in the gut.
The effect of probiotics is not, as many people think, the result of the number of billions of microbes found in the product, but rather the mixture of microbial species. Although lactic acid bacteria are the most dominant bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, they cannot establish themselves without the natural symbiosis they share with other types of microbes, wild yeast and beneficial acids that create the right pH. In nature, bacteria always live together in symbiosis and are completely dependent on each other for growth and stability, as can be seen in the diversity of microbial life in soil and plants. Unlike most probiotic products that contain freeze-dried strains of only one or two microbe species, Probioform closely mirrors the natural selection of good bacteria found in fermented and wild-living foods. It is the combination of the right environment that makes Probioform unique. The key to our success.
The questions about the number of bacteria (more commonly referred to as CFU colony-forming units) and the ability to survive in the gastrointestinal tract are really only relevant when dealing with powder and pill supplements where the bacteria grow in isolation. Isolated bacteria are generally very weak and have very little resistance or adaptability. Very high numbers of bacteria are therefore important since only a few % of the dose survives the stomach acid. Typically AB (Acidophilus / Bifido) probiotics have CFU counts in the billions. These are often freeze-dried or dehydrated, which further reduces the effect. They are also sometimes put into “carrier” media to “protect” them from the low pH of stomach acid. An analogy would be to take a child and protect him/her from all diseases during the first two years of life. As soon as the child is exposed to the real world, you can expect him/her to get many diseases, as he/she has built up very little resistance – the immune response. Conversely, microbes in Probioform consist of an extensive consortium of several strains and classes. The strain is not grown in an artificial laboratory environment and therefore must compete with each other to survive and adapt. This is approximately the environment it should live in our digestion. In addition, probioform’s bacteria already live at a low pH. (3.0 – 3.7) which ensures that they speak the stomach acid tough environment.
The fact is that the natural microorganisms we have in our intestines got there via the food we eat. Probioform’s pH is in the range of 3.0-3.7, mainly due to the lactic acid that creates the right environment for its own healthy existence. Therefore, the bacteria are able to survive the stomach’s acidic environment.
One of the main purposes of stomach acid is to act as a sterilizing or disinfecting agent. The low pH kills almost all pathogens, provided we chew our food properly and do not drink too much water when we eat, as this will dilute the stomach acid.
Most conventional probiotic supplements are produced from what are known as pure cultures/laboratory produced, and they tend to be very fragile, as they are grown in a high pH solution. So chances are many of them will be affected by the sudden drop in pH level before they have a chance to wake up again after freeze drying.
The good bacteria in Probioform are extremely robust, as they have never been freeze-dried and already live in a solution with a low pH value of 3.0 to 3.7. Probioform’s multi-strain means it is very adaptable under a wide range of pH levels.
Newborns born via caesarean section do not pass through the birth canal, and are therefore not exposed to the same variety and concentrations of bacteria. As a result, they tend to have less beneficial bacteria, and the flora that takes root is not only different, but also less efficient.
During a normal birth, good bacteria are transferred from the mother’s birth canal, and they quickly enter the child’s digestive, respiratory and genitourinary areas where they begin to colonize, acting as a kind of seed for the child’s developing microflora. As these beneficial bacteria become established, infants gradually begin to experience all the immune, digestive and other health benefits that these bacteria provide.
A colon implant is a small amount of concentrated liquid solution that is inserted into the colon through the rectum. The solution is retained for a certain amount of time (a few minutes or sometimes even overnight – however long the body allows it to remain in the large intestine. Adding a pinch of salt to solutions makes it easier for the intestine to retain the solution).
We do not recommend transferring Probioform to other containers, as our package keeps light and air out of the drink. If you decide to put it in another container, after about 10 days you will get white flakes floating on top. This is the natural wild yeast that forms when the product is exposed to oxygen and light.
Yes, we recommend that you occasionally shake the product gently as the yeast and minerals will settle to the bottom after a while. If you don’t shake it, you may find that the color darkens in the end.
Yes, you can keep Probioform in the fridge if you want. If you use it without water, the taste is fresher and may resemble the taste of kombucha more.
We do not recommend freezing it, as the microbes go dormant when frozen.
The product has a 12-month shelf life from the date of production, and the same amount of live bacteria is in the can 12 months after production. From 12 months to 24 months, the amount of active bacteria will gradually decrease. Probioform is like a good wine – it gets better with age. The probiotic effect gradually decreases and will be converted into enzymes and antioxidants. If the product gets a “rotten” smell, and you have to throw the box away.
Yes, you can store it at room temperature. Most people keep it on the kitchen counter, so it’s easy to remember to use it every day. Note, not in wind with direct sunlight or on top of a microwave oven.
Probioform is brewed at body temperature and is stable at room temperature, which makes refrigeration unnecessary, even after the box has been opened. It is so stable that it will remain unchanged for a year (some changes in taste will occur as the pH gradually decreases). It is completely raw and natural.
See our dosage guide.
Yes. The daily dose depends on weight. Small children only need a couple of drops – which can be increased with age to half a teaspoon and then a teaspoon. See our dosage guide
Very rare. Some people may occasionally experience symptoms of detox when they start using Probioform. This happens because the body can get rid of waste products that have accumulated in the gut, resulting in mild diarrhoea, flatulence or, very rarely, hard stools. If this happens too suddenly, just cut back on the amount and increase slowly until your body is comfortable with it. Any side effects that occur will be a result of the detox effect of the beneficial bacteria.
Everyone has a different ratio between good and bad microbes and waste products in the digestive tract. Probioform contains naturally occurring antioxidants and beneficial acids in addition to very active good bacteria that can push out bad bacteria. People with impaired immune / digestive systems MUST start with lower doses: for adults: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) daily mixed with water, and for children under two years of age 1 teaspoon (5 ml) daily mixed with water spread over the whole day. After a month, you can slowly start increasing the dose.
Many people find that Probioform helps to increase the number of weekly bowel movements while also helping to soften the stools (making them easier to pass). 40 to 60% of faeces are good bacteria and the rest is fibre, which is why we need a daily replenishment of good bacteria.
The obvious culprits include a low-fiber diet, repeatedly ignoring the urge to use the bathroom, not drinking enough water, lack of exercise, or certain medications, all of which can disrupt the balance of gut flora. Antibiotics are particularly bad for this, as they work by killing almost all bacteria. A healthy intestinal flora weighs about 2 kg, and with each bowel movement the intestines release billions of living bacteria. If the intestinal flora is too weak, it will not be able to replenish itself and will naturally try to hold back the stool so as not to lose more bacteria. By filling the good bacteria with Probioform, you can gradually recover the 2 kg of healthy bacteria, which gives you a regular and painless bowel movement.
We recommended that you start gradually with 2 tablespoons twice a day mixed with water, then gradually increase to 1 dl spread throughout the day (approx. 30 ml x 3 times a day). Maintain this dose until the desired effect is achieved. Then you can gradually reduce back to 2 tablespoons twice a day or as needed.
Usually, people experience a normal bowel movement after 3 to 5 days, although some difficult cases may need as long as 2 or 3 weeks.
If you have recently traveled or have undergone antibiotic treatment, we recommend starting gradually with 2 tablespoons twice a day mixed with water, then gradually increasing to 1 dl spread throughout the day (approx. 30 ml x 3 times a day) . Maintain this dose until symptoms begin to improve. Then you can gradually reduce back to 2 tablespoons twice a day or as needed.
With all inflammations, we recommend starting very carefully. For some very severe cases, we start with one or two drops in water a day, and then gradually increase. We reduce the dosage immediately if the symptoms increase, and wait until they are gone before we start again. This process has shown good results, but takes time.
There are many reasons why the intestines have developed inflammation, but a couple of common causes are trapped residues from industrial foods and fillers, as well as excessive use of antibiotics found in food and medicines. Pesticides such as glyphosate can also be trapped in our intestinal walls. Probioform will help to clear this out gradually, and if this is done quickly, the reaction can be unpleasant and increase the symptoms.
Probioform can be taken at any time, with or without meals, morning or evening.
Every day, the good bacteria in the digestive tract are killed by stress, poor diet, caffeine, alcohol, antibiotics, over-the-counter or prescription drugs, chlorinated water, fluoride in toothpaste and mouthwash, herbicides in food and toxic chemicals in the environment. We lose many billions of bacteria through our faeces. That is why we need fermented food, natural and wild food.
Bowel cleansing, such as enemas and enemas, changes the intestinal flora. They not only eliminate waste from your body and release bad bacteria, but also flush some of the good bacteria from your body. You need these good microbes to maintain a healthy balance. Therefore, it is very important to replenish the intestinal flora with healthy bacteria when cleansing the colon.
